Longjing is the most famous tea in the world, and the top grade of Longjing is "Shifeng". The reason why Shifeng Longjing tea is famous can be tracked back to the Qing Dynasty. According to legend, Emperor QianLong used a handful of Hangzhou Shifeng Longjing tea to relieve the discomfort of the queen mother. He named the eighteen tea trees as imperial tea.
The tea picked before the Qingming Festival is called "Mingqian tea". The Shifeng Longjing tea is all handcrafted. Especially those with one bud and one leaf are the finest. Longjing tea is a famous Chinese green tea, produced in the West Lake area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, with a history of more than 1,200 years.
Longjing tea is emerald green in color, rich in aroma, mellow and refreshing, and has four distinct characteristics: "green in color, rich in aroma, sweet in taste, and beautiful in shape".
