Product description
HuaZhu LiangZi is located in the west of Xishuangbanna, spanning across the villages of Bengnan, Manlv and Benggang of Mengsong Xiang. 1,900 - 2,400 metres above sea level, it stands at the peak of Xishuangbanna. The name “HuaZhu” originated from the wild bamboo that used to strive there. Around the peak, there are cultivated tea trees not more than 3 metres in height. They are low in vigour, covered in moss and lichen. These epiphytic plants hang off the branches, resembling countless tails of a lion, forms an unusual yet stunning scene. Covered with thick moss and epiphytes, they might seem tempered, yet they still stand tall and proud within the forest, with new shots every year.
The strong relish of wild mountains and the earthy scent unique to moss are marked characteristics of HuaZhu LiangZi. There is a shy floral aroma along with a sip of tea. The throat yun is gentle with enough firmness, just like the yang in the yin. DianFeng Ancient Tree is noticeably sweet with a tinge of freshness that lasts through the aftertaste. Its rich aroma coats the entire tongue and has a fluffy viscous texture.
